Question by ratmgr2: Has anyone ever heard of or used “Live TV for PC”?
I saw an ad for it on a banner on a web page and it sounds like a cool thing, especially for those of us that don’t have cable or satellite TV in our homes. But it costs $ 49, so without some research I don’t want to risk it. Any help would be great. Thanks.

How can I watch “Live” local tv online?

Question by Non Al Coholic: How can I watch “Live” local tv online?
The signal in my area is being used up by everyone downloading porn I guess because I am not able to split the signal from my den to both my modem and my tv. I did it for the last several years without issue until now.

So what is the best way to watch tv live on my pc? I am not interested in anything that has already aired where you can download that from sites like Fox, ESPN, etc. Most of the sites I check that say they are live really are not.

Are any of these devices to convert your pc and laptop to tvs any good? If it requires me to split the signal between my modem and the device, obviously that won’t work. And I don’t really want to pay $ 200 for a Slingbox. Anything that could hook up directly to my router would be nice.

There’s technically no live tv anymore because of the goddamn FCC controlling everything we see on tv, I think it’s censoring, every show that claims to be live actually has a 8-10 second delay so they can cut to commercial if something happens they don’t want you to see, it’s bullshit. But idk about your question

Question by pb33141: Does anyone actually watch live tv on a PC?
I have been putting this together on my PC little by little, in hopes of eventuallly watching programs and movies on my PC without having to pay a-lot to cable companies and the like.
I have installed a 500 watt power source and a ( Saphire HD 3850 ) graphics card, I also bought a software on the internet called “Premium TV for PC” at premiumtvforpc.com.
Now, the problem their is that it’s kind of complicated to use “I think”
and I can’t get premium TV for PC to respond to my emails, so that I can ask for help, so, by the way, if you know how to use it please call me & help me a little.
I’m usually good at those things, but can’t get this one down yet.
So back to my original question, I want to talk to someone who actually gets over on the cable companies and watches tv or cable for (no or low cost) on a PC?????????????? My # 305-321-2690

Why don’t you watch satellite TV on PC? It is a simple software to install, there is no monthly recurring fee (only hte one time set up fee), it is quick and easy to install and you get 3000 channels for free after installation. Here is a more detailed readup:

Well, good for you. Sounds like you run a secure operation. However, I might point out that security software uses imprints, templates, and patterns to hueristically determine if a file is infected or not. It will bring it to your attention so that you can determine if you trust the source or not.
So not all that glitters is gold, and not all the files identified as harmful are.
