i’ve seen these sites that advertise “watch 2500 channels of satellite tv on your computer” “one time fee” “100% legal” and they offer software to download for around $ 60 are these sites all just a scam or do any of you know for a FACT (you own one of these programs) they really work or is it just a scam

This is regular standard TV primetime programing you watch on your computer, but you have to subscribe to it for like $ 10.00 a month or so.

Question by KaninX: Wii on my 22″ PC monitor.. Are there any free software/programs I can download to use as my “TV”?
Just like I said.. I have a 22″ PC Monitor. The only connections I have on it are for HDMI and VGA.. and connections to my PC are HDMI, VGA, and DVI. Other than that, I have a TV Tuner.

I couldn’t find a simple way to hook up my Wii to my PC monitor.. so I bought an RF modulator and connected my wii to that.

So practically what I did was Wii (RCA) > INTO RF Modulator > Coaxial (white TV cord) OUT > to TV tuner.. I’ve tried Windows Media Center, but I’ve known of the buffer there so the video is VERY delayed (3 secs or so). I was wondering if anyone knew of any other TV software I could download to use? I’ve tried DScaler but I couldn’t get that to work .. Bad hardware or something xD.

I have the RF Modulator set to Channel 3/4 sooo I gotta find a way to also change the channel of the particular program onto that too..

Anyone try one of those companies offering watching satellite TV channels on your PC (for one-time fee of 40-60 dollars). Any opinions? Good or bad? What if you get that service and then run the line from your computer or monitor to you HD television (using something like DVI to HDMI cable) will you lose quiet a bit of resolution? Thanks.

Some of them are swindlers, Those are recorded TV shows.There are real live broadcast most are educational boring channels and religious shows, lots of porn and music .The supposed to be premium ch like ESPN,HBO etc. are recorded.The picture will be stretch if you connect it to widesreen TV since most are streaming videos.You can get it for free from underground sites, also from P2P.
