Question by Kai_K: Has anyone tried the “satellite tv for pc?” Is it any good or just a lot of “junk” tv from around the world?
I’m thinking of eliminating my cable bill since I rarely watch tv & my 2 teen boys are into the japanese anime on the internet, but my youngest still needs his dose of Nickelodeon. Does the satellite tv for pc offer anything of quality in the way of kids shows/children’s programming? Or does anyone know of any good websites that show full length episodes for kid’s cartoons? Any advice is helpful– Thanks!

No, it’s just a bunch of junk from around the world. However, you can buy kids’ programming on iTunes. It’ll cost money but it’s still cheaper than a cable bill.

Question by Steve: What’s is wrong with the software, “Satellite For PC Ellite Edition”?
I bought this software a few days ago and clearly regretted it! Everytime I clicked on a TV or radio channel, it first indicates by telling me it’s connecting to media and later stop and displays a ‘Ready’ sign. I tried to click on ‘Play’ again and the same thing happens again! I seemingly discover that out of all of the channels being displayed, only a small section of it will work! I have a fast internet connection so it shouldn’t have being a problem!
Anyone has a clue to it?

Simple answer is the program is a piece of garbage. It’s just another scam. Promotes to say “300+ channels on your PC!” or some heap, but it’s all garbage. A few no-name channels out of the US, and that’s about it.
Luckily, a friend gave me a copy, so I obviously never ended up buying it myself.
